What you will need:
8" x 6" piece of fabric
3 1/2" x 1 1/2" piece of fabric
Thread, pins, needles, scissors
Step 1:
Fold fabric in half, with right sides together.

Pin. Again, don't get influenced by my poor pinning method. Pin perpendicular to the edge of the fabric.
Step 3:
Sew all the way around.
Step 4 |
Step 4: Cut |
Step 4:
Now you will fold the fabric in half, to find the middle of the fabric. Next cut a 1 inch slit in the middle. This will allow us to turn the bow inside out.

Turn the fabric inside out.
Step 6:
Now you have this. -->
Don't worry, you won't see the slit in the end :)

Now take the small piece of fabric, and fold it in half with wrong sides together.

Pin. This is the correct way to pin!

Sew!
Step 10:
Fold the fabric so that the seam is on the back of the strip.

Now take the big fabric, and place four fingers spaced out on it in a line.

Squeeze your fingers together.
Magic!

Take your small fabric strip and wrap it around the middle of the bow.
Step 14:
Pin and sew by hand, and trim extra fabric
Congrats!
You have just made your own hair bow in 14 steps!
To wear it, you can just stick a barrette or bobby pin through the middle strip in the back.
